New recommended list of appraisers for Russian counter-sanctions regulations

In March 2023 the Russian Ministry of Finance published an excerpt from the minutes of a meeting of the Sub-Commission of the Government Commission for Control over Foreign Investments in the Russian Federation, in which it recommended that the accuracy of a valuation report be confirmed by an expert opinion from an association of appraisers, submitted as part of the counter-sanctions filing together with the valuation report.

On a related note, on 21 April 2023 the Ministry of Finance published a list of seven associations of appraisers which it recommends for the preparation of such expert opinions.
