On 15 October 2025, Stonebridge Legal hosted a business breakfast focusing on complex HR solutions in contemporary business environments. The event brought together HR directors and senior managers interested in enhancing organisational resilience during periods of structural change.
The discussion centred on integrating HR strategy into corporate-wide processes, methods for minimising operational, legal and reputational risks in termination procedures, and transforming dismissals from potentially contentious situations into managed processes. Participants examined termination risk mapping and the importance of preparing risk mitigation plans, the 9-box system for objective staff assessment, tools for adapting appraisal processes, maintaining employee case files and implementing settlement agreements. Real case studies illustrated common employer errors and effective prevention strategies.
