Special Mergers and Acquisitions course for Moscow State Institute of International Relations students and Moscow State Law Academy

Stonebridge Legal has announced the launch of its special practical Mergers and Acquisitions course, which will be held at two leading Russian universities, i.e., the Moscow State Institute of International Relations of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MGIMO) and O.E. Kutafin University (Moscow State Law Academy).

As part of the course, a team of experts from the consulting and corporate sector will share their valuable expertise in M&A transactions and highlight key issues such as:

  • negotiation, basic structural problems, arguments and rebuttals;
  • buyer and seller logic, and structuring basics depending on buyer/seller goals;
  • transaction documents;
  • joint ventures, and approaches to structuring relations between majority and minority shareholders;
  • transaction financing;
  • tax planning and tax provisions;
  • commercial, financial and accounting aspects of transactions;
  • disputes arising from transactions.
