Stonebridge Legal continues to expand its International Arbitration and Litigation Practice and has announced that Roman Butenko has joined the firm as a Partner.
Roman Butenko is a qualified Russian advocate and holds a PhD in Law. He has extensive experience in resolving Russian disputes and participating in international arbitrations, including under LCIA, SCC and HKIAC rules, and the rules of the ICAC at the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Roman is also a recognised expert in compliance and internal investigations, and has broad regional experience in Central Asia and the Americas, which he gained while working in the offices of an international law firm in Kazakhstan and the United States. He represents leading international and Russian companies across a range of industries, including heavy engineering, oil and gas, chemicals, construction, pharmaceuticals, and the automotive industry.
Roman’s arrival increases Stonebridge Legal’s International Arbitration and Litigation Practice to a team of 10 lawyers. Alongside Roman Butenko, the team includes Partner Dmitry Surikov, Counsel Anastasia Sivitskaya, Of Counsel Ilya Putilin, and Senior Associates Anatoly Borisov and Leonid Prokhorov.
